With a few simple ingredients and in a few simple steps, you can “dress” up just about anything! And less time cooking means more time enjoying summer! Bon appetite!
Classic Balsamic Dressing:
If you’re looking for a lighter, more health-conscious dressing, this classic balsamic dressing is the one for you! Our favorite way to use balsamic is drizzled over a fresh caprese salad or glazed over brussel sprouts!
½ cup balsamic vinegar
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Pinch of salt
¼ Cup olive oil
Tart Cider-Vinegar Dressing:
If you prefer a tangy dressing to mix with sweet ingredients like cranberries, apples, and walnuts this apple cider vinegar recipe will do the trick!
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Pinch of salt and pepper
½ cup olive oil
Sweet Mustard Dressing:
Mix Dijon mustard with some honey to balance out these two opposite flavors for a crowd-pleasing dressing that goes with any summer salad! We also love to use this dressing as a marinade for grilled chicken!
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon minced garlic
Pinch of salt and pepper
¼ cup olive oil
To prepare all dressings:
In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients except for the olive oil.
Slowly add in the olive oil, and mix until the dressing is smooth.
Transfer to an airtight container, and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
