Habitat for Humanity’s 6th Annual “Building Houses, Building Hope” Golf Tournament

What better way to support your community than by spending the day on the Seacoast golfing for a cause?

On Monday, August 16th Marci & Co. Realty Group was honored to be a Sponsor of Habitat for Humanity’s 6th Annual “Building Houses, Building Hope” Golf Tournament to support the Southeast New Hampshire chapter of Habitat Humanity in an effort to raise funds to provide affordable housing to those in need from our community. The event was hosted at the stunning Wentworth by the Sea Country Club and we could not have asked for a more beautiful day! Upon their arrival, golfers were treated to a fabulous lunch and they were able to browse the selection of items that were generously donated and auctioned off at the end of the event. 

After lunch, the golfers headed to their carts which were equipped with “player swag bags” provided by Marci & Co. Realty Group! VIP packages were also available to purchase which included 2 mulligans and an entry into all the on-course contests (longest drive, putting green and closest to the pin). It was a wonderful day on the Seacoast to golf, socialize and above all, support the community we love!

It is Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide safe and decent housing to people in our community who earn too much to qualify for public housing assistance, but too little to qualify for conventional lending options. Habitat partners with families to provide them a mortgage, interest free! Without Habitat for Humanity, these families may never have been able to experience the American Dream of home-ownership and the hope and security that comes along with that. 

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization and each month, they reinvest the mortgage payments that they receive and put that money directly back into the community to continue building as many homes as possible for Seacoast families!

The Southeast New Hampshire division serves Strafford County and 19 cities and towns in Rockingham County. To date, they have built 30+ homes and placed more than 120 local families!
